Angela Dunning, poetry, personal growth, seasons, change, winter, frost
She is here
Wrapping her blanket of frost
Around your shoulders
Breathing her icy cold chills
Down the back of your neck
“I’m back, feel me in your bones”
“Let me take you deep within once more”
“To the darkest parts of your soul”
“To the place where you will find
That which you have yet to explore”.
Imploring you to wrap-up warm
To stoke the fires of your heart
And allow the Hag to embrace you again
And in the remembering of her endless cycles
Allow just a little more of your heart to thaw…
